Welcome to the Online Training & Information Center (OTIS) Help topics for the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), MEDIC First Aid, and EMS Safety brands.

ASHI/MEDIC & EMS Safety instructional materials provide an array of interrelated products designed to work together to help students to gain specific knowledge and skills.

Welcome to OTIS Help Topics

Provides a brief introduction to the OTIS system and its content.

Working with the Dashboard

Provides information regarding the various menus and elements shown in this section of the User Interface (UI). The dashboard displays after you login to the OTIS system.

Adding & Managing Instructors

Instructs how to add and reauthorize instructors to Training Centers (TCs). Additional information includes the management of Digital Rights and instructor development. These tasks are performed within the INSTRUCTORS module in the navigation pane.

Creating & Managing Training

Instructs how to create and manage Blended, Remote Skills Verification (RSV) sessions, Classroom, and Digi-Cert Card trainings. Additional topics include creating and editing specialized courses and tasks, and performing student searches. The Remote Training Schedule module is where RSV sessions are scheduled and where you launch remote sessions. These tasks are performed within the TRAINING module of the navigation pane.
